Abstract: According to the working characteristics of mine hoist system，a new design method of process control and monitor system using PROFIBUS field bus technology is presented in this paper. It puts emphasis on the network topology, software programming and functional features of the mine hoist control system. The design method of PLC main program, communication between PLC and inverter, as well as the monitor control system are given in details. In practical running it conforms that this FCS keeps a well running performance with reliable stability and strong communication capacity, which boosts the reform of mine hoist and make progress on the electric control technology．
